Fourth Sunday of Advent

Please join Pastor Jack for worship this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for the fourth Sunday of Advent.

The service will feature an interactive Christmas pageant presented by the Sunday School.  Please remember to bring your donation for your Christmas Telegrams that will be available in Fellowship Hall after church.  Help support the Sunday School in an effort to brighten up the downstairs area.

Let's Eat Breakfast

Please join us on Sunday morning from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. for Let's Eat breakfast.  The buffet features lots of fresh, hot eggs, home fries, and bacon.  Also offered will be a quiche of the day and either pancakes, French toast, or waffles.  And, as always, plenty of coffee, tea, cocoa, juice, and fresh fruit will be available.  We hope you can join us.  Freewill donations are appreciated but not necessary. 

Community Carol Sing

This Sunday afternoon, December 18, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., the Music Committee invites everyone to Christmas Caroling at the Silver Street Chapel, 224 Silver Street, in Monson. The choir will lead the singing of religious carols and familiar Christmas songs as well as perform several Christmas numbers for your pleasure.  Parking on this rural street is a bit tricky, so be prepared to walk. Come celebrate this joyous season with music!

Tavern Night

Please join members of the First Church Choir for the next tavern night.  The theme of the evening is "Christmas/Angels."  First Church receives 10% of the day's proceeds.  This includes dinner, drinks, and take-out.  You can come on Thursday, eat dinner, and then purchase an additional meal for the next day.  These evenings are opportunities for you to enjoy a night out with family and friends, have fun, and benefit the Church at the same time.  The tavern, located at 218 Main Street, opens at 4:00 p.m. for dinner.  The phone number for take-out orders is (413) 893-9078.
