Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the First Church of Monson will be held on Sunday, February 5, at 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.  All covenant members have a vote that matters.  The ONA Task Force will also be presenting its statement for membership approval.  Please plan to attend.  Childcare will be provided.

Lenten Study

Pastor Kraaz will be hosting a Lenten book study on Tuesday mornings during Lent from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The Lenten Tuesdays are February 28, March 7, 19, 21, and 28.  We will be using the book, “Love is the Way,” by Bishop Michael Curry. A signup will be in Fellowship Hall. Pastor has ordered ten copies of the book which will be available after February 6.  We will meet in the library. It will be nothing without you.

Lenten Meditation Booklet

Every year members and friends of First Church write their responses to one of the forty Lenten scriptures plus Easter.  Suzanne Kelley then publishes these in a booklet for everyone's use during Lent.  Ash Wednesday is February 22 this year, so the booklet must be ready for distribution on Sunday, February 19.  Please volunteer to write or draw your reaction to a scripture.  See Suzanne in the Fellowship Hall after the service to sign up for a scripture.  Your responses are due by February 5, the date of the Annual Meeting.
