RECENT NEWS

Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Partners in the Outdoors Conference
Just three weeks ago (April 24-26), Metro DNA held another Nature Narratives workshop. With Breckenridge Ski Resort as a backdrop, Alliance Director, Dana Coelho, and CU MENV graduate student, Alex Handloff, presented storytelling techniques to a diverse group of organizations eager to tell their own story. After introducing the Regional Vision for People + Nature, Alex and Dana facilitated a storyboard exercise, helping participants identify the right audience for their story, a budget, and a narrative arc.

If your organization is interested in learning about effective story-telling techniques, email dana@metrodna.org to set up a Nature Narratives Workshop! Read more...

The coalition was founded in 2008 with the mission of facilitating collaboration among community members, local community-based organizations, non-profits, and the city of Denver.

On June 8th, the SouthWest Denver Coalition will join forces with Metro DNA and other partners to host Safe Summer Kick Off on Get Outdoors Day! Event information is summarized above and available at www.metrodna.org/ssko-go
