 AIDS Candlelight Vigil, Tuesday, June 18th from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
 Pride and Remembrance Run, Saturday, June 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 CATIE has updated its chart illustrating the most common medications used to treat HIV in Canada.

National HIV Testing Day – June 27 posters are available

 &  were informed that our funding from Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) is reduced by 25% from last year’s budget, over the next two years.
 The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls
 Celebrating National Indigenous History Month throughout June. Events include A Traditional Medicine WalkSummer SolsticeIndigenous foodIndigenous Arts Festival.
National Indigenous Peoples Day, the City will host a Sunrise Ceremony at City Hall. This traditional ceremony includes a sacred fire, smudging and drumming. It starts at 5:30 a.m. on June 21 on Nathan Phillips Square
Toronto Public Health updates Overdose Action Plan
Releases strategy to address resilience challenges
 The Ontario HIV Treatment Network is pleased to announce the launch of the 2019 HIV Endgame Program. There are three streams available, and the Letter of Intent deadline is Friday, July 12, 2019.

Volunteers Needed for the Pride & Remembrance Run

(a) Tuesday, June 18 from 6pm to 9pm at Exchange Tower - First Canadian Place. Race Kit Assembly - assembling race kit bags and bib numbers for the runners.
 
(b) Saturday, June 22 from 8am to 12pm at the 519 and Barbara Hall Park. Line guide, set-up for water, handing out water, and handing out medals or food/hospitality set-up, hand-out, and clean up.

Special Events Assistant – AIDS Walk
First ever nighttime walk! ACT is seeking a Special Events Assistant for the AIDS Walk. This volunteer position will provide critical administrative and logistical support to the event.

Join Health Ambassadors Program at Hornet app!

CRUISElab at the University of Toronto in partnership with Hornet app are conducting a study on a peer educational program where guys using the Hornet app will be trained as health ambassadors, and then will interact with other Hornet users to engage around sexual health related topics. If you are currently a Hornet app user, simply visit http://bit.ly/2hornet_study to find out more about the study. If you do NOT currently have a Hornet app account, join the community first (hornet.com) AND follow the link above.

Senior Pride Network members are encouraged to complete an online survey for the Ontario Government to provide input to the development of a new seniors strategy for Ontario. 
The Ontario PrEP Cohort study Seeking individuals who are 16 years of age or older starting or using PrEP in Ontario. Participation includes regular surveys every 6 months and permission to access your health information. Compensation is provided
Exploring the sexual and reproductive health needs of young women who were born with HIV. Women age 16 to 30, born with HIV, may participate in a one-time, confidential interview about their experiences with sexual and reproductive health. Honorarium: $50

If you are from the MSM community, aged 40 years or older, cis/trans, aware of and willing to confidentially disclose your HIV status (seropositive or seronegative) for our study.OLDER AND TOUGHER: MSM RESILIENCE AGAINST HIV/AIDSHonoranium paid
