Introducing the couple-times-a-year newsletter, to help you

Stay connected to the
Stanislaus River
you remember

Dear <<First Name>>,

The Stanislaus River is alive again at - more than 50 people have contributed almost 2,000 photos, documents, videos and more. We know you were there or are close to someone who was, so we really want to let you know what's happening on the site. We promise, just a handful of emails a year, all guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, wonder, and just be re-connected to this magical place.

Here's what we want you to do:

  1. Stay on this list - there's nothing you have to do!  (If you don't want this newsletter, just click the unsubscribe link at the bottom - and it helps to hear why you don't want to be on it).
  2. Get on over to the Stanislaus River Archive site and start browsing (just try searching for your name or someone you know, or browse these pre-selected collections).
  3. Let us know if  you have slides, photos, or other items that aren't yet in there but should be.
  4. Tell us if you want to help - we need people to do outreach, curate items, fundraise and more!
And check out the Stanislaus Archive Blog for more news - including how to download and use Google Earth files of all the places you knew along the river!  We're going to be hosting some webinars soon on how to use all the many features of the site, so stay tuned for that.

By the way, "We" is just a handful of us - Larry Orman, Mark Dubois, Roy Tennant, John Cassidy, Richard Roos-Collins and some others who've worked hard to get this site up and going. Learn more here
