Please join us in our Annual 2021 Help Us Grow Campaign This year we need your help to cultivate the growth of our mission to create opportunities and promote the inclusion of individuals who have intellectual disabilities.

Our annual H.U.G. campaign provides the necessary support to sustain our dynamic and engaging programs across both Arizona & California. Last year, we raised $103,000, this year our goal is $125,000 and we can't get there alone!

Our commitment to our participants, their families, and our community remains deeply rooted, and your financial support ensures the continued growth and long-term success of One Step Beyond. Gala Information and Registration

Please join us on November 20^th at 7 pm for our inaugural “Virtual-Hybrid Style” Help Us Grow Gala.

We encourage small groups to gather in their homes to enjoy the live-streaming Gala together with the many other groups of attendees. There will be no technical hardships for you to maneuver, it is as simple as clicking on a link! Register today by visiting our special Gala site hosted at OSBI.org/Gala or simply click the button above. We are offering individual tickets at $125 and group/pod tickets of 10 or more at $100 per ticket.

There are many ways that you can get involved with the event and Help Us recognize the personal Growth that OSBI supports and nurtures in the lives of our participants and their families. The AZ OSBI Culinary Dept. is joining in the fun! Be sure to take advantage of the fantastic charcuterie boards and desserts they are preparing for this special event. A charcuterie board comes with the pod-style ticket option for groups of 10 or more. You can also purchase these delectable items a la carte. There are California-specific options provided by local venue, Vivace! The Gala will feature an online silent auction showcasing amazing options at great prices. The auction will begin Wednesday, November 10th (keep an eye out for an email with the online silent auction link), and lead up to the evening of the event. 100% of the funds raised at the Gala and online silent auction directly impacts OSBI participants. All OSBI supporters are welcome to join the online silent auction regardless of Gala ticket purchase.

Camille Sledge is a force of nature. Her roles in life have been wonderfully diverse and with each she has been spirited, driven, full of passion and, successful as a songwriter, artist, mother, non-profit leader, singer, actress, activist and model. Growing up around music, her mother is Debbie Sledge of the iconic group Sister Sledge who Camille occasionally performs with in addition to solo performances and being the lead singer of the renowned group Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra.

What is the Next Step? One Step Beyond, Inc. recognizes the needs that inevitably arise for many families regarding in-home care. We are currently working toward our goal of opening a residential housing option for our OSBI families who share this need and have an interest in pursuing the next steps. Hockey has begun! In San Carlos, October brought with it the thrill for our participants of strapping on their skates once again as they entered into their fourth season at the San Jose Sharks SAP Center in San Jose, CA. SJ Sharkie met the team to celebrate the first skate of the season with our guys, and they had a blast! The One Step Coyotes are next, beginning Tuesday, November 2nd, it is their time to get back on the ice and they are counting down the minutes! We will keep you posted through the season of the amazing things these players and the hockey community are doing together as they prove that hockey is for everyone!

Individuals can direct $400 of their existing tax liability to One Step Beyond. If you are married and/or filing joint, the number doubles to $800 on an annual calendar (April to April of the year). Consult your tax professional for additional information.
