We aren't there yet, but things are heating up. Spring is in full effect and while that means the world is beautiful and blooming, we know that Summer is right around the corner. What does that mean for OSBI? Keep reading...
We celebrated the end of the One Step Sharks hockey season in style at Hockey is for Everyone Night with the NHL San Jose Sharks. Our California hockey team and their families enjoyed the VIP treatment as they watched the Sharks take on the Nashville Predators from two executive suites. We also got to wave to all the fans in the stadium while featured on the Jumbo-Tron after the sharks played a special video presentation about the adaptive tools we utilized during practices. Thank you the San Jose Sharks Foundation or organization for all of your support. We can't wait until we can hit the ice with you all next year!
Al is an OSBI Participant whose brother just so happens to be our OSBI Board Chair. Recently, Jim and Al encountered a life-changing resource for both of their lives - a dentist who specializes in working with people with disabilities. Pack it up! Happy campers get good news... The Arizona Recreation Program is hitting the road again this year! Let the FUNdraising begin. We are actively seeking sponsorships to support this anticipated venture, contact BriVanDyke@OSBI.org to find out ways that you can support this important 3-day out-of-town Annual Trip that so many participants have been missing over the last couple of years. P.S. The Virtual Talent Show is coming up on May 20th! Check out the info on the Zoom Schedule page of the website at OSBI.org. The show is FREE, but when you make a donation, you are entered to win in the raffle... all donations support the Annual Camping Trip!

Scottsdale Culinary is turning up the heat. After a few months of planning, our participants were finally able to suit up in their chef's coats and explore their fully equipped commercial kitchen. While learning about kitchen safety, sanitation, and nutrition, our chefs have begun to prepare and cook lunch for the whole Scottsdale Campus. Stay tuned for more exciting happenings being served up by our Scottsdale crew!
