Are you a Virgin Author?
  1. Are you looking for a community of support?
  2. Do you need a Shut Up and Write Group? Maybe an accountability or critique group?
  3. Would you like friends to meet up with at conferences?
I've got some incredible news for you!

Virgin Authors are not:
  1. Writers who have never written anything
  2. Writers writing in Virginia
  3. Writers who don’t have sex. Oh, thank God!
But we are four friends bonded by our love of writing, struggling to navigate the publishing world. Writing can be a lonely profession. We’ve decided that supporting other authors along the journey is just as important as our daily word count.

We invite you to meet us on Facebook live for our first episode on March 17th. We’ll come together on the Third Thursday of every month. Join our community as we discuss our trials and triumphs. We’ll have special guests, and we plan to celebrate the importance of girlfriends and cocktails while we laugh through the rejection emails and all the exciting baby steps along the way to publication.

Grab your favorite drink and log in on the Third Thursday to chat with the Virgins and our special guests. You can find more information at www.virginauthors.com.

Our first guest on April 21, 2022 will be the incredible, supportive, writing coach and author, Rebecca Bloom.  Please see her Anti-Cookbook below. It is featured as one of The Best Cookbooks for Every Taste and Every Type of Diet By Taylor Galla and Aly Walansky on Spy.com. I'm so thrilled for her. Check it out!

The Anti-Cookbook
Easy, Thrifty Recipes for Food-Smart Living

The Anti-Cookbook inverts the idea that cooking is simply about following a recipe. A “cookbook” method of completing a task implies a mundane, thoughtless process. This book seeks to do the opposite — to inspire readers to think creatively about making meals and independently about the deeper issues surrounding food and nourishment. We want readers to see the sweetness of committing to themselves, to locally sourced ingredients and wholesome recipes, to sitting down to a homemade meal instead of dialing one up or paying someone else to cut the broccoli. If you have found yourself too often eating out of a bag or ordering up take-out, indulge yourself with our food-positive philosophy. Cook better, eat right, be well.
