Who really supports Compassion Seattle, the campaign for Charter Amendment 29?

Look at who is supporting the Compassion Seattle initiative and who isn’t!

Do your homework. Don’t let a canvasser on the street talk you into signing it.

Get the facts.

Why did they claim endorsements they don’t have? Why are big property management and development companies the main donors?

What is a city charter amendment?
A city charter amendment, if approved by voters, amends, or modifies, the charter. A charter amendment proposed by citizen petition must acquire 33,060 signatures from registered voters in order to qualify for the ballot. Charter Amendment 29 is a citizen petition to amend the charter and if the required signatures are obtained the measure will appear on the November 2021 ballot.

A charter amendment is a big deal and this one is an unfunded mandate. Decline To Sign.

What is House Our Neighbors?

House Our Neighbors is the campaign to teach people why they should decline to sign the Charter Amendment 29 Initiative.

Donate to House Our Neighbors. Volunteer in June to table, poster, and talk to your neighbors, family, co-workers about this deceptive charter amendment.

Please get involved right away. Share The Cities encourages all of our volunteers to show up this month for at least one House Our Neighbors event!
