Hello again, juniors in tech!

Issue #7 - November 21st, 2018

Hi everyone. This week's newsletter is shorter than usual. Normally, it takes 5-10+ hours to work on the newsletter each week, but I'm doing the Product Hunt Makers Festival so I don't have a lot of time.

So instead of the usual stuff, below I have my top 5 interesting reads of the week. Hope you enjoy it.

Also, to the few of you emailed me or contacted me through the feedback form to show your appreciation for the newsletter, thank you so much :)

In case you're curious, I'm working on Revolnote, an app that helps you turn your anger about what's happening in the world into practical actions that help advance social justice causes.

I'm making this because I often get angry/upset about things I see in the news, but I usually don't do anything about it. So I would use Revolnote to keep track of current events that make me upset, and for each one, commit to a practical action related to the issue. (For example, donating to an organization, contacting an elected official, or going to a protest.)

Learn more about Revolnote and sign up here.

Also, if you're participating in the Makers Festival, email me and I'll give your project a shout out next week.
