We are all power players.

Understanding the role we have in the film ecosystem is a vital part of our work. But creating an understanding for the power that each of us hold is what really drives us, and what we believe can bring about constructive change.

CARLA 2020, our global event this August on diversity beyond 2020, is taking shape and we are delighted to virtually welcome leading power players from around the world. It will be an exciting programme, 100% digital of course and featuring all the attractions the virtual sphere has to offer: keynotes, conversations, roundtables, interviews and a virtual book launch.  A press release is going out soon as well as programme highlights, so keep an eye out on our channels below.

A special welcome also to all the new chapters that have joined the the WIFTI community! What a pleasure to see our family growing! Keep updated on our media channels.

With chapters emerging and new groups forming, our community is constantly evolving. That's why we think it's important to make clear what it entails to become part of WIFT International and what it doesn't. Please take some time to read this document that the WIFTI board has issued to spotlight our shared values of inclusivity and generosity as well as rules for member chapters.

WIFTI World Wide Webinars

Sparked by the input of our presidents and as a teaser for the CARLA 2020 conference, the WIFTI World Wide Webinars will invite you to meet creatives from around the world who will share their stories on change and their experiences of disruption. We feel that this time of transformation and restriction opens a lot of space to rethink where and what we want to be in our industry when we come out at the other end.

We've got three Zoom webinars lined up during June and you can rewatch the past webinars on our WIFTI Youtube channel. This time round, we will also live stream the webinars via our Facebook group
