Passover Pottery for Popsie's Pantry
Tuesday, March 5, 5:30-7:30 PM or Thursday, March 7, 11AM-1PM
Gather at Pottery By You where participants will purchase, paint and donate a Seder plate or platter for a local Jewish family to enjoy during Passover. We provide light snacks. Register here to hold a seat by registering here. Payment for pottery and painting time will be made to Pottery by You at the event.

June 19, 2019, 6 - 8 PM  

Get in touch with your inner flower arranger at Random Acts of Flowers in SoBro. Participants will make two bouquets with reclaimed flowers and one or both will then be delivered to local hospitals or nursing homes.  Registration will open later this spring.

Sun. Feb. 17 | 5 pm - Etz Chaim's 2019 Speaker Series "Stories of Freedom" featuring Dina David's "Iraqi Jews - The Untold Story: A Personal History." Dina David, born to Iraqi immigrants in Israel, traces the history of Jews in Iraq and in particular her family's life in Baghdad. Her personal story will include her family's life in Israel and will touch on her life both in Israel and America. Iraqi dessert, coffee, and tea will be served. Open to all.

Wed., Feb. 20 | 7 pm - Shaarey Tefilla Davin, Dinner, and Drinks. At the end of services, a group will be organized to go out to a local restaurant. Anyone attending minyan and their friends are welcome to join, both members and nonmembers. Everyone is responsible for their own purchases.

Fri., Feb. 22 | 5:30 pm - IHC Tot Shabbat. Families with children ages 1-6 come together to share the joy of Shabbat. An Oneg Shabbat follows this relaxed 20-minute service.

Sat. Feb. 23 - Beth-El Zedeck "Shabbat Away" Congregational Retreat at GUCI. 

Sat. Feb. 23 | 7:30 pm - Shaarey Tefilla's Casino Night and Silent Auction. Las Vegas-style cash gambling, blackjack, poker, craps, bingo, 50/50 raffle, and a raffle for a Peyton Manning-signed football! $25/person, includes $10 toward silent auction purchases, appetizers, beverages, and desserts. 

Sun., Feb. 24 | 9 am - Beth-El Zedeck's Judaism 101 with Rabbi Shelley Goldman. All are welcome. This week's topic: Modern Period.
