Welcome Brady Porterfield-Finn,
Community Engagement Manager for the DSST: MTV Campus!

Hello MTV Families,
My name is Brady Porterfield-Finn and I am the new Community Engagement Manager for both Montview Middle School and High School. My role will focus on family engagement, community engagement, and advocacy. More specifically, I will be working to create unique partnerships and bring exciting opportunities to campus to enhance the overall experience for all of our students at MTV. I am thrilled to meet you and learn what your vision for strengthening our campus' impact in our communities looks like. I am passionate about building community and breaking down barriers to ensure every student receives the opportunity to pursue and achieve their dreams.

A little bit about my background; I grew up in California before spending 5 years studying Journalism and Psychology at the University of Missouri. After graduating from Missouri, I served in the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso (West Africa), and then spent time teaching in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Mexico. I have an appreciation for language and culture and am eager to get to know the backgrounds of our students and families. I live in Denver with my wife, Bentley, and our two cats, Boris and Bouda. When I am away from work, I enjoy playing basketball, hiking and listening to podcasts.

As I continue learning about MTV's students and our community, I will be relying on knowledge and insight from parents like yourself. If you have ideas for projects or partnerships, reach out to me at

Act Now!: DPS Registration

Health and Medication Forms

Each year, families are required to complete and submit certain health/medication forms to ensure that your student is supported by our Nurse and Front Office Staff. If your child requires any daily medication, has asthma or any other medical condition that may require medication or our assistance, please bring these forms to your doctor and return them to us before the first day of school. We will schedule a separate time for medication to be submitted to our Nurse.
Here are the forms: Please submit completed forms to or bring them to the Front Office during Summer Hours.

Uniform Donation Give-Away:
Saturday, July 31
DSST: Montview MS (outdoors)

Over the years, families have been generous enough to donate worn uniforms for the school to use for students out of dress code or other reasons. We have accumulated more than we will need and would like to offer families a chance to take from our inventory before we donate them.

All of the uniforms have been washed.

Please call the Front Office at 303-524-6380, if you have any questions.

Save the Date!

21-22 Supply List

Your support is essential in helping us maintain and continue our high level of academic achievement by ensuring our Knights have the resources they need to succeed.

Please do your best to account for all items on your Knight's Supply List. We welcome donations of extra community supplies, as they are used throughout the school year.

Starting Monday, August 2, families are encouraged to bring their community supplies to the Front Office prior to the first day of school. We will be available from 8:00a-4:00p

If you have any questions regarding the supply list, please contact

21-22 DSST: Montview MS Dress Code

As we prepare for a full return to in-person learning, our Leadership Team has worked hard to create an updated Knight's Dress Code. Students are required to follow the Knight's Dress Code and we want to ensure that all families have access to this important information with enough time to be ready for the First Day of School.
