The Table

The Table has been an exciting time thus far. There is a hope of something new that is blossoming each week. I have really enjoyed the fellowship and the sharing that has occurred during our gatherings. I didn’t realize how transforming it could be just to hear the thoughts of those sitting right next to me. To have discussions about different ideas and topics has brought me new understandings, has deepened relationships, and ultimately has showed that many of us are longing for similar things.  I have enjoyed the fact that there is not a detailed plan for the future - this leaves room to organically grow into something the group as a whole is longing for. I have left each week with a "full cup” and look forward to the future ministries, outreach, worship, fellowship, or whatever else occurs at The Table in the future.
Central Mission Center News:
Get Out & Be The Church!
We have been sharing peace, hope, joy and love with our neighbors through JAM (Jesus and Me) Clubs for more than 20 years.  Together we have made significant impacts on our community, reducing violence, connecting neighbors, providing meals, promoting education, pursuing peace, supporting local schools and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City.
Central Mission Community of Christ currently has 20 volunteers working with 3 boys and girls clubs and more than 140 children.  We need more volunteers to be a part of this life changing ministry!
Can you read story?  Can you talk with kids? Can you be a listening ear for a child just needing to talk to someone? Then you have the skills we need! The world needs you!  Experience the difference we make together as Community of Christ!

Call or email Carole Price today to get signed up as a volunteer!
