Nightly I-110 Closures Coming Later This Spring
In the coming weeks, crews will begin installing nearly forty overhead bridge girders as they reconstruct the overpass which will carry US 62 (Paisano Drive) over Interstate 110 immediately north of the Bridge of the Americas. To safely conduct this work, southbound I-110 leading to the bridge will close nightly for several weeks later this spring. An exact date for this work has not yet been finalized. Updated information will be provided as soon as it is available.

On-Going Closures Will Continue Without Interruption
- Ramp H which connects eastbound I-10 to US 54 and Juárez remains closed until further notice.
- Interstate 110, the short freeway spur leading to and from the Bridge of the Americas, remains closed to northbound traffic until further notice.
- US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed to traffic in both directions between San Marcial Street and Gateway Boulevard South.
- Gateway Boulevard East remains closed to thru traffic between Loop 478 (Copia Street) and Marr Street.
- The ramp from southbound US 54 to US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
- Both turnarounds under US 54 at US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
- Intermittent closures on Durazno Avenue, Rosa Avenue and Uva Street.
- Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard East between Piedras Street and US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
- Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard West between Boone Street and Palm Street.
Onramp and offramp closures may begin up to one hour earlier than stated times. All information is subject to change based upon weather and field conditions.

About the I-10 Connect Project
The I-10 Connect project is at the intersection of Interstate 10 and US 54 in El Paso County. The project extends from I-10 to Loop 375 (Cesar Chávez Border Highway) and provides access to the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) via I-110. The $96 million project includes the construction of four new direct connectors, a full reconstruction of the I-110/US 62 (Paisano Drive) interchange, and removes exit ramps from US 62 to I-110.
I-10 Connect will improve connectivity between I-10 and Loop 375, also providing an alternate route to I-10. It started February 19, 2019, and is expected to be complete in less than three years.

EL PASO, Texas — Esta semana sigue la obra en un sistema inteligente de administración de tránsito (ITS por sus siglas en inglés) como los señalamientos electrónicos de manejo de carriles (LMS), señalamientos dinámicos (DMSs), al igual que otras estructuras para apoyar a los letreros tradicionales por encima del I-10 y US 54 en la zona central de El Paso.
Para instalar estos elementos del Proyecto I-10 Connect, se programa los cierres de rampas y carriles varias noches de la próxima semana.

Próximamente: Cierres Nocturnos de I-110
En las semanas que vienen, cuadrillas de construcción iniciarán la obra de instalar casi cuarenta rieles superiores de puentes mientras se reconstruya el paso elevado que lleva a US 62 (Paisano Drive) por encima de I-110 al norte del Puente Internacional de las Américas. Para llevar esto a cabo de la manera más segura, cerrarán I-110 Sur hacia el puente internacional cada noche por varias noches esta primavera. No se ha determinado la fecha exacta para esta obra. Se le indicará al público conforme sea disponible la información.

LOS SIGUIENTES IMPACTOS AL TRÁFICO SIGUEN SIN INTERRUPCIÓN
- La Rampa H que conecta I-10 Este a US 54 y Cd. Juárez permanece cerrada hasta nuevo aviso
- I-110, la corta autopista que conduce hacia el Puente Internacional de las Américas, permanece cerrada para tránsito hacia el norte hasta nuevo aviso.
- US 62 (Paisano Drive) permanece cerrado en ambas direcciones entre Calle San Marcial y Gateway Boulevard Sur.
- Gateway Boulevard Este permanece cerrado entre Circuito 478 (Calle Copia) y Calle Marr.
- La rampa de US 54 Sur hacia US 62 (Paisano Drive) permanece cerrada hasta nuevo aviso.
- Los dos retornos en US-62 (Paisano Drive) por debajo del US 54 permanecen cerrados hasta nuevo aviso
- Cierres intermitentes de Avenidas Durazno y Rosa, y Calle Uva.
- Cierres intermitentes en Gateway Boulevard Este entre Calle Piedras y US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
- Cierres intermitentes en Gateway Boulevard Oeste entre Calles Boone y Palm.

Sobre I-10 Connect
El Proyecto "I-10 Connect" se encuentra en la intersección de la autopista interestatal I-10 y la carretera US 54 en el Condado de El Paso.
