Tuesday, October 8, through Thursday, October 10
Nightly from 9pm to 5am
- SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) will be closed to all traffic at US 54.
- DETOURS: Eastbound traffic will turn left on Loop 478 (Copia Street), right on Gateway Boulevard East, and right on Raynolds Street. Westbound traffic will use westbound US 62 (Paisano Drive), turn left on Boone Street, right on Delta Drive, right on San Marcial, right on Paisano Drive, and follow detour signs to return to Alameda via Loop 478 (Copia Street).
- NOTE: Alameda will remain open to local traffic only except for the area immediately under US 54.
Crews will be preparing parts of an existing ramp for demolition.

Thursday, October 10, from 9pm to 5am
- Southbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic at I-10.
- DETOUR: Take Exit 21A (I-10 East/Van Horn), then take Exit 23B (US 62/180/Chelsea Street/Paisano Drive). Turn right on Paisano Drive, continue to Boone Street and follow the marked detour.
Crews will be replacing a shoulder and relocating temporary safety barriers

Long-Term Closures Which Will Remain in Place Next Week
- Ramps F and G which connect I-10 to Juárez at the Spaghetti Bowl remain detoured through northbound US 54 to Pershing Drive until further notice.
- Ramp T which connects Gateway Boulevard North to northbound US 54 north of US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
- Alternating complete closures of Durazno Avenue, Rosa Avenue and Uva Street.
- Both turnarounds under US 54 at US 62 (Paisano Drive) remain closed until further notice.
- Intermittent lane closures will be in place on US 54 between Loop 375 and Spur 601.
- Intermittent lane closures will be in place on Gateway Boulevard East between Piedras Street and US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
- Intermittent lane closures will be in place on Gateway Boulevard West between Boone Street and Palm Street.
- Lane closures are in place on eastbound and westbound SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) at US 54 until further notice.
- Lane closures are in place on eastbound and westbound US 62 (Paisano Drive) between I-110 and US 54 until further notice.
- Lane closures are in place on Ramp D which connects southbound US 54 to eastbound I-10 until further notice.
- Lane closures are in place on Gateway Boulevard South between Findley Avenue and US 62 (Paisano Drive) until further notice.

Upcoming Long-Term Closures
While the exact date and duration of the following closures have not been established, motorists are encouraged to be aware of the following upcoming, long-term closures:
- Ramp V which connects southbound US 54 to US 62 (Paisano Drive) will close to all traffic so crews can temporarily open Gateway Boulevard South to two-way traffic. This temporary change is necessary to allow access to the Findley/Latta neighborhood during upcoming concrete paving work on Paisano.
- All traffic leaving the Bridge of the Americas on northbound Interstate 110 will be required to turn right on US 62 (Paisano Drive). This temporary traffic change is necessary to allow crews to route southbound traffic on I-110 into the northbound lanes giving crews additional room to work on retaining walls.

The I-10 Connect project is intended to make it easier for motorists to use Loop 375 as an alternate route I-10. Check out the big news from TxDOT about a new section of Loop 375 which is now open.

About the I-10 Connect Project
The I-10 Connect project is at the intersection of Interstate 10 and US 54 in El Paso County. The project extends from I-10 to Loop 375 (Cesar Chávez Border Highway) and provides access to the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) via I-110. The $96 million project includes the construction of four new direct connectors, a full reconstruction of the I-110/US 62 (Paisano Drive) interchange, and removes exit ramps from US 62 to I-110.
I-10 Connect will improve connectivity between I-10 and Loop 375, also providing an alternate route to I-10. It started February 19, 2019, and is expected to be complete in less than three years.

Cada noche de 9pm a 5am
- US 62 (Paisano Drive) cierra para todo tráfico entre Gateway Boulevard Sur y Gateway Boulevard Norte.
- La Rampa V que conecta US 54 Sur a US 62 (Paisano Drive) cierra para todo tráfico.
- Gateway Boulevard Norte cierra para todo tráfico entre US 62 (Paisano Drive) y SH 20 (Alameda Avenue). (Martes a jueves solamente a partir de las 8pm.)
- DESVIACIONES: Tomar Calle San Marcial, Delta Drive y Calle Boone. El tráfico de US 54 Sur hacia Paisano continua en US 54 hacia Circuito 375 Este, toma Salida 56 (Fonseca Drive), toma Circuito 375 Oeste, y toma Salida 20 (US 62/Paisano Drive).
- AVISO: El Tráfico de Gateway Boulevard Norte y Gateway Boulevard Sur debe doblar a la derecha en at Paisano Drive y seguir desviaciones demarcadas.
Cuadrillas instalan semáforos temporales.

- DESVIACIONES: El tráfico del Este dobla a la izquierda en Circuito 478 (Copia Street), derecha en Gateway Boulevard Este, derecha en Calle Raynolds. El tráfico del Oeste toma US 62 Oeste (Paisano Drive), izquierda en Calle Boone, derecha en Delta Drive, derecha en San Marcial, derecha en Paisano Drive, y seguir señalamientos para regresar a Alameda vía Circuito 478 (Copia Street).
- AVISO: Alameda permanece abierto solamente para tráfico local excepto en el área inmediatamente debajo de US 54.
Cuadrillas preparan partes de una rampa existente para la demolición.

- US 54 Sur cierra par todo tráfico sobre I-10
- DESVIACIÓN: De US 54, tomar Salida 21A (I-10 East/Van Horn); De I-10, tomar Salida 23B (US 62/180/Paisano Drive/Chelsea Street); doblar a la derecha en Paisano.

Aunque no se determina la fecha exacta ni la duración de estos cierres, se les recomienda a los automovilistas reconocer los siguientes cierres de largo plazo:
- La Rampa V que conecta US 54 Sur a US 62 (Paisano Drive) cierra para todo trafico para que los equipos puedan abrir temporalmente Gateway Boulevard Sur para tránsito de dos sentidos. Este cambio temporal es necesario para dar acceso a la vecindad Findley/Lata durante la próxima pavimentación de Paisano.
- Todo tráfico saliendo del Puente Internacional de las Américas en I-110 Norte dobla a la derecha en US 62 (Paisano Drive). Este cambio temporal es necesario para permitir cuadrillas desviar el transito hacia el Sur en I-110 a los carriles municipales para que trabajen en los muros de contención.

SOBRE I-10 CONNECT
El Proyecto "I-10 Connect" se encuentra en la intersección de la autopista interestatal I-10 y la carretera US 54 en el Condado de El Paso. El proyecto se extiende del I-10 al Circuito 375 (Cesar Chávez Border Highway). El proyecto da acceso al Puente Internacional de las Américas (BOTA por sus siglas en inglés) vía la autopista interestatal I-110. El proyecto de $96 millones incluye la construcción de cuatro puentes interconectores, una reconstrucción completa de la intersección I-110/US 62 (Paisano Drive), y remueve las rampas de salida del US 62 al I-110. La intención de este proyecto es facilitar a los automovilistas el usar el Circuito 375 como ruta alterna al I-10. El proyecto I-10 Connect inició su obra el 19 de febrero de 2019, y se estima que concluya en menos de tres años.
