Back to Preschool Edition 🚌

Hi <<First Name>>,

I forgot how much fun preschool is!

I mean, seriously. In what other world is it your full-time vocation to make stuff, jump on things, and get out all your toys at once? The last few weeks, I was invited to do just that. I felt like I was at preschool again... Oh, wait. I was.

With the school year coming up, Child Development Services of Fremont County (a.k.a. CDS) gave me an inside look at how they do good in the community - the Heidt and Depth mission statement - and a request to help them figure out how to take their efforts further. Here's what we did.

Build more opportunities for learning

Over a 2 week span, I partnered with a carpenter to produce 2 pieces of custom-fabricated playground equipment that look like school buses. We had a blast doing it, but the teachers were even more excited to see them. Why? Between the 2 buses, there are dozens of new opportunities for sensory learning: shapes, colors, textures, sounds, things to touch, and settings to build friendships through creativity. Capturing the essence of doing good in the community

CDS is designed as a place for children with special needs - autism, cerebral palsy, speech impediments, and more - but the services they provide are services anyone with a child age 0 to 5 can benefit from. For example, how do you know if your child is developing at the appropriate pace? Take them to CDS for a free screening. Want a place where, as one parent told me, "the kids can be themselves?" Look no further than CDS. Where can your kids can build friendships with others in all types of development stages? CD... oh, should I stop talking about how awesome CDS is? This guy doesn't think so:
In order to fully capitalize on a "community good" project, a person or organization must be able to effectively communicate their brand (example) and mission (example) with their audience. As you may have noticed in our previous email blasts, Heidt and Depth offers much more than just design and construction, and that's because those services are only one component of impacting your community. In CDS's case, we provided them with marketing services - specifically photography, videography, and copywriting - to further spread the word about the work they are doing to improve the community.

How can we come alongside you?

What do you need in order to make your community a better place? Whether you know the answer to that question or not, we are here for you. We can support you wherever you're at in your dream, and we help you find answers to your unanswered questions. Let's get in touch!

Thanks for your support!
