It’s time for the December edition of The Crunkleton monthly newsletter we call The Bar Tab.
Thanks for taking time out from your busy schedules and daily routines to stop by the bar for food and drinks. On behalf of all of us at The Crunkleton, we wish each of you Happy Holidays for the coming weeks! This is a fun time of the year!
Friday, December 20th is the First Anniversary of The Crunkleton in Charlotte. We opened the doors one year ago. Please join us at 5:00 pm sharp or 10:00 pm sharp as we do a toast for all of you that have helped make The Crunkleton your neighborhood jaunt for food and drinks.
This past year has been wonderful! You all have made it wonderful! Please join us on the 20th for the birthday toast. I often say “it is the people in the bars which make bars great.” Thank you for making The Crunkleton a great bar!
That is all for now. Be safe during the Holidays. Remember the reason for the season. Also, remember to try and meet someone new every time you visit.

Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Reservations

We are opening up our Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve reservations one day early to readers of The Bar Tab! Click below to make your reservation today!
December 24th: Christmas Eve Dinner, serving our regular menu and open from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm.
December 31st: New Year's Eve Celebrations, serving our regular menu, with a Champagne toast at midnight. We'll be open from 5:00 pm - "until" (2:00 am).

Please note, a credit card will be required to make a reservation for these nights. A fee will only occur if the guest cancels within 48 hours of reservation. The bar will be available for walk-ins, all tables will be by reservation only.
Reservations will open to the public tomorrow, December 5th.

December Events
We have so many fantastic events this December, we hope you can join us!
- December 5th: Repeal Day: Join us for a free tasting event with Old Forester from 5-7 pm at the bar. We will also be discounting Old Fashioneds and Manhattans all evening.
- December 17th: A special Glenmorangie & Ardbeg Scotch Whisky Tasting and Luncheon at 1:00 pm, $15 per person. RSVP to ryan@thecrunkleton.com for this event.
- December 20th: Our First Anniversary Toast! Two toasts at 5:00 pm & 10:00 pm hosted by Gary Crunkleton.

December Employee of the Month

It is a privilege having Felix Fernandez on staff at The Crunkleton. Felix is tremendous in service and stature. His talents in hospitality create a greater call to service that transcends the workplace. Felix makes me want to be a better person. He reminds me of the noble aspirations that guided me to hospitality and serving others many years ago. He serves as a benchmark from which new employees can find their compass as they realize hospitality is their passion. Indeed, The Crunkleton is fortunate to have Felix in our work culture. So for December, Felix is our employee of the month.
