As you know, Coaches Ed. will be going online for the duration of Lockdown. Starting this week, we will put a bit of a pause on our practical work and move towards a bit of theory work for the next 4 weeks. Practical sessions will resume after Lockdown and I'll provide you with a revised schedule when we have a clear idea if we are able to open back up when the Lockdown is due to end on the 2nd December. 

This programming module we are beginning today is a 4 week programme based off of the CrossFit Programming Course which I've adapted to suit what we do at Sleven. It covers how to create variety in a programme, how to effectively build a single workout, how to programme multiple workouts into a simple template and ways of testing the effectiveness of your programme.

I know you're all as excited as Jan in the picture below to get going on this so read on to see how the next 4 weeks are going to work!
 

The content will be delivered in the form of a Google Slide document as we have been doing. I'll email it to you every week (instead of every 2 weeks). However, this course will have a number of little questions, quizzes and tasks along the way to help test your knowledge and understanding. If you watch the document in the Slideshow view, the answers will be revealed to you as you click your way through the presentation, so it might be worth using a notebook to record your answers before revealing them.
 

Along with the quizzes there are a couple of small tasks that will allow you to practically apply the content and make it relevant to Sleven. The tasks are highlighted in a pink bubble that look like this:


It would be great if you could complete these tasks in your notebook ahead of our Zoom catch ups each week so we can discuss them as a group. Our first meeting will be next Saturday 14th November at 11am. I'll send you a Zoom link through the week.
