Welcome back to Coaches Ed. for 2021!!
We're so glad to have you all on board for another module of learning! Coaches Ed. will look a little different to the last few months as we begin to shift away from the practical side of coaching for a while and lean more towards looking at the theory of fitness. (Perfectly fitting given the current state of affairs!)
In 2021 we will be more focused on how some basic principles of fitness apply to the style of training we are familiar with at Sleven.
The content for 2021 will be as follows:
- 10 weeks: Movement, the basics of exercise physiology, strength training principles and energy systems.
- 4 weeks: Nutrition Basics
- 4 weeks: Motivation and Communication - how to get the most out of clients and members.
This will take us right into the summer, and by then we will have a broadly based knowledge of coaching, programming, nutrition and mindset.
We are really keen to be learning alongside you and can't wait to sink our teeth into the content!
