Hi <<First Name>>

Welcome to this week's 5-Minute Friday where we share highlights from our week - a curated selection from things we've read, watched, pondered over, eaten, loved or picked up that inspire peace, purpose and productivity.

These “5-Minute Friday” emails will only be available to you as subscribers. They will not be on the blog or anywhere else.

We treasure your experiences with the Jeem Journal. Leave a smile on our faces by leaving a review here.

Our challenge is over the halfway point and we'd like to take a moment to thank all of you for your messages and interaction. If you haven’t downloaded our Jeem Habit Maker yet - a free downloadable 1-page PDF to help break old habits and make new ones - you can do so here. #Jeem30Days
What we're reading:
The Premier League’s Hamza Choudhury is part of a funky new campaign for the popular computer game FIFA 21. The commercial features the Midnight Ramadan League which aims to help those who struggle to play during their Ramadan fast, with matches kicking off after Iftar and before Suhoor. Choudhury’s also released a children’s comic book which is available to download for free.

What we're watching:
Being Muslim on BBC iPlayer is a moving take on what faith means to diverse members of the Muslim community in the UK today. The programme charts life's biggest moments from the birth of a child right through to the passing of a loved one. On a lighter note, we couldn't help but chuckle at The Awkward Muslim In #Ramadan sketch on YouTube featuring Mariah Idrissi and Mistah Islah!

What we're listening to:
An interview with Misha Euceph on the US-based Muslims Doing Things podcast. Misha is a Pakistani-American writer, podcast host and Executive producer of The Michelle Obama Podcast. She demystifies the path to a podcasting career with plenty of laughter throughout the episode!

What we're loving:
We know it's a special form of masochism to watch food videos before iftar but our favourite food blogger Halal Girl About Town has been sharing some video recipe ideas to up your iftar game at home.

If, despite last week's recommendations, you're still in the market for Eid cards then look no further than Hand Made By Hawra's delightful collection.

Jeem Juxtapositions:
Check out our latest article entitled Journaling, Destiny & Renovation featured over at The Muslim Vibe.

It’s not long to go until the celebration arrives so don’t forget to start planning your Jeem Journal orders for friends and family for a hassle-free Eid gift win. We're excited to announce that 24hr next-day shipping and gift messages are now available.

Quote we're pondering over:
We are all born with spiritual wings, Islam simply reminds us how to fly - A Helwa

All best wishes and duas,

Tauseef & Sarah
