Hi <<First Name>>

Welcome to this week's 5-Minute Friday where we share highlights from our week - a curated selection from things we've read, watched, pondered over, eaten, loved or picked up that inspire peace, purpose and productivity.

These “5-Minute Friday” emails will only be available to you as subscribers. They will not be on the blog or anywhere else.

We treasure your experiences with the Jeem Journal. Leave a smile on our faces by leaving a review here.

30 Days of Goodness Ramadan Challenge:
The challenge is live and we've been overwhelmed by your engagement and encouragement. The recent Dua List download has gone down really well with Jeemers around the globe. Click on the image below to find out more. #Jeem30Days
What we're reading:
Ameera Aslam, author of the deeply personal and poignant collection of poetry 'Desiring Light', has been sharing her Ramadan reflections for Launchgood. You can follow her series here. If you missed our Day 1 challenge to automate your charitable giving with Launchgood during this holiest of months, you can do so here.

What we're watching:
We're optimising our prayer experience though the endlessly energised Iqbal Nasim's inspiring daily 30-minute series called Steps to Paradise over at Transform My Prayer.

What we're listening to:
We've been thoroughly enjoying listening to the Audible audiobook version of M.A.S. Abdel Haleem's translation of the Qur'an*, exquisitely narrated by his son Aymen.

What we're loving:
Cambridge Muslim College's delightful series of short lectures throughout the month all under the unifying theme of 'Sow a Seed', encouraging us to cast an eye on and to reconnect with nature.

We loved learning about, and were surprised by, Beautiful Ramadan traditions from around the world and we enjoyed this gastronomic tour of 12 international iftar dishes to try this Ramadan. Perhaps clicking the latter link would be best left for after iftar though!

Jeem Juxtapositions:
We were delighted to be featured in Muslim Women Connect's reflective blog entitled 'Ramadan 2021: Lessons From Lockdown'.

Thank you all for continuing to frequent our Jeem Essentials* reading list. The list is a curated selection of reads that have featured in this newsletter, been mentioned in one of our Instagram Stories or have simply tickled our fancy. One thing's for sure: they resonate with our desire to inspire peace, purpose and productivity.

Quote we're pondering over:
Your Lord says, ‘Call on Me and I will answer you... - Holy Qur'an (40:60)⁣

All best wishes and duas,

Tauseef & Sarah
