A powerful symbol of hope in my dining room window
Dear <<First Name>>,
The world has changed dramatically since I reached out in February to share my Nurture video series. For the past couple weeks, I’ve been wrestling with whether to reach out again. Part of me has been longing to send a message of hope, solidarity, and support, while another part recognizes that I can’t possibly understand your unique experience of this crisis or know what you most need right now.
So I've decide to simply start with a virtual hug and a prayer that you and yours are safe, healthy, and finding some moments of calm within this storm. If you’re being bombarded with content right now, let’s just leave it at that. (p.s. You’re in good company.)
If instead you’re looking for a little something to help you relieve stress, I’ve just finished translating my workshop on managing stress by shifting our self-talk into a self-paced online mini-course. I’m keeping it free for the next few months, and I’d love it if you were one of the first to check it out. I’m still putting the finishing touches on the course (e.g., adding audio/video transcripts), but I wanted to make it available as quickly as possible. If you decide to give it a try, please let me know how you like it or if you experience any glitches. You can learn more about the course at the end of this message.
Wherever you are, please take good care, and know that I will continue to send positive, loving thoughts in the days ahead.
All my best,
