GSSSI Gives Thanks for Giving Tuesday!

"Alone we are strong.
Together we are stronger."               ~Author unknown
Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. is blown away by the generosity of our donors.

December 1, 2020, was the first Giving Tuesday GSSSI participated in, and it certainly won't be the last. Powered through The Community Foundation, Giving Tuesday is a one-stop-shop for those looking to donate to local charities and nonprofit agencies.

We received many donations on-line through The Community Foundation and were pleasantly surprised by donors who walked to our Grab 'n Go Meal sites to give cash donations.

Donations to Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. will go directly towards vital services and programs which help older adults stay safely and independently in their homes. We can't provide these services without community partners like The Community Foundation and donors like you.
The Need Continues...
Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. still needs your support.
COVID-19 has impacted how we care for the thousands of frail older adults and individuals with disabilities throughout the greater Springfield area. More money and more resources are needed now more than ever, to help ensure we follow our mission of helping our clients stay home safely and independently for as long as possible.

Please consider a donation in memory of someone who received services from GSSSI or a donation in someone's name as a safe and 'contactless' gift for a special loved one who has everything.

Special acknowledgments are sent promptly to family members or other designated individuals to let them know a thoughtful gift has been made on their behalf. Donations are acknowledged in Greater Springfield Senior Services E Newsletter and Annual Report.

We thank you for your generosity!

for their generous donations!

Through the generosity of donors, GSSSI is able to meet the increased needs being placed upon older adults and persons with disabilities during this pandemic. Donations have allowed us the opportunity to expand our capability for purchasing additional KN-95 masks for our Home Delivered Meal Drivers, purchasing additional food supplies for the community, and acquiring technology to assist in remote services.

Greater Springfield Senior Services wishes you a peaceful Hannukah
