Greater Springfield Senior Services is committed to helping as many people as possible get their COVID-19 Vaccine.

The vaccine brings hope of a return to some semblance of normalcy. The approved vaccines are safe and free of charge. According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, 65% of individuals 75+ years old have received their first dose of the vaccine. GSSSI has been able to assist these individuals by registering folks through the online registration portals, providing translation services and support for affordable housing vaccination clinics, as well as assisting caregivers to access necessary vaccination information.

As we move into Phase 2, GSSSI is committed to assisting individuals who are 65 years and older, as well as folks with two (2) or more co-morbidities with the vaccine registration process. The GSSSI Information and Referral Department is here Monday - Friday 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. to connect older adults and persons living with disabilities with the needed resources.

Please contact us by phone at (413) 781-8800 ext 452 and ext 556 (Spanish) or by accessing our website. For more information about the vaccine, please click on the following links below.

A Special Thank You to:
Clarence Nunnally in Loving Memory of Joseph Nunnally
for his generous donation!

Through the generosity of donors, GSSSI is able to meet the increased needs being placed upon older adults and persons with disabilities during this pandemic. Donations have allowed us the opportunity to expand our capability for purchasing additional KN-95 masks for our Home Delivered Meal Drivers, purchasing additional food supplies for the community, and acquiring technology to assist in remote services.
