On every 5th Sunday, starting with January 29th, we will be having one combined service. As a reminder, there will be no morning groups on that Sunday, as we look forward to worshipping with you and your family, together! Lunch will also be provided in the Fellowship Hall, following the service. All families are asked to provide a dessert to share.

Hello, FBC Family! We are grateful to the Lord and to you all, for your prayerful support and patience during the search process for an interim pastor, which began several months ago.

We are delighted to announce that the Executive Team (Pastors Scott, Mark, and Darrick), in cooperation with the Personnel Committee have unanimously agreed to call Dr. Jon Akin as our Interim Pastor, effective January 8, 2023. Dr. Akin will fill the pulpit at least three times per month. He will serve alongside of the Executive Team providing coaching and consulting as needed.

Dr. Akin comes to us with extensive experience as a senior pastor and interim pastor. He currently serves as the VP for Church Relations and Campus Ministries at Carson Newman University in Knoxville, TN. He has served with the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and as a Bible professor. He has a vision and heart for multi-generational and multi-ethnic churches. Please pray for him as he assumes this new role.
