Soroptimist Forward: Focus on Membership

An incredibly valuable aspect of Soroptimist membership is the friendship and fellowship shared among club members as well as Soroptimists worldwide. As the coronavirus pandemic continues, clubs in many parts of the world have not been able to gather in person. And when we can’t get together, we really miss one another!

Headquarters put together digital membership tools to help you connect with members in your club and region.

In Memoriam

We are sad to report that F.V. “Tex” Cornwell, 1989-1990 President of the Soroptimist Foundation has passed away. Tex joined Soroptimist in 1976 Tex and was a member of several Soroptimist clubs over the course of her years of Soroptimist membership, primarily as a member of SI of La Mesa, CA. Tex served in the US Marines, earned her MBA and worked as a tax preparer and financial advisor over her very long career. In addition to her dedication to Soroptimist, she was a longtime advocate of the rights of senior people to live with dignity in their homes through her involvement with ElderHelp. Our heartfelt condolences are with all who loved Tex. To learn more and for funeral service information, click here
