Has your club delivered a Dream It, Be It project (including virtually) this year? Be sure to report it to SIA by June 1 so we know about your club’s hard work to increase education for girls!

Live Your Dream Awards

Now that your club has selected your Live Your Dream Award recipient, consider if your club can support her beyond the cash award! Additional encouragement for her and her family can show that your club is truly invested in her success.

Soroptimist Celebrating Success Awards

The deadline to submit your club projects for region Soroptimist Celebrating Success Awards will be here before you know it! Be sure to send your submissions to your SCSA region chair by July 1. 

Investing in Women

Sandra received a Live Your Dream Award and is on the successful path to living her dream and creating a better life for her family, because of contributions made by our generous clubs and donors from around the world. As sexual abuse survivor and mother of four, she has pushed through her obstacles because, “I want to show my children that even through all the messy obstacles it can be done, and goals can be reached”.

There are so many women like Sandra that need our help. Make a Club Giving contribution to help more women overcome challenges and meet their goals.

Retirement Planning Webinar

SIA’s corporate partner Adrienne Horen of Janney will present a webinar on May 12 at 7:00 PM ET on retirement planning. She will cover rising medical costs, longer term care and how to evaluate your assets and create a financial plan for yourself. She will also answer your questions. Register here.
 

Things to Know

• The ballot to elect SIA’s 2021-2022 President-elect is now open through April 29. The links to access the electronic ballot were sent to clubs in good standing at their @soroptimist.net club email address on February 26. Resumes and videos for both candidates can be found on the SIA website.
• SI is accepting applications for the volunteer role of SI Director of Advocacy for the 2022-2023 biennium through April 26.
