July Update
Sunday, July 10th, 2022

Dear Faithful Partners and Praying Friends,

Lord willing, this is the month we move to Nigeria. Our time of deputation has been completed and we praise God for how He has worked in the last 23 months.

This time has been of great value to us. Every church we visited was a blessing to us in some way that we did not deserve. We have experienced unreserved generosity and sincere love for the Gospel. We have learned from men and women who have served The Lord for many years. God has grown the band of people who have an eternal investment in Nigeria, and we praise Him for it.

Mark Holmes, the missionary in Nigeria with whom we will be working, is currently on furlough. He recently visited our home church to preach our midweek service. He also taught a missions class the following day to students and deputation missionaries who are training for the field. We are grateful for that, and it was perfect timing. It made us even more anxious to arrive in Nigeria, and there were several students who spoke of an interest in Nigeria afterward.

 

We received our visas back this week. Our bags are packed. We leave July 27th.
