Dear Friend and Supporter of the Alliance For Just Money,
The year 2020 has been a year of contrasting emotions and experience, both a year of painful loss and sadness and one of generosity and kindness. As we all look to 2021 with a heartening sense of healing and hope, the AFJM gives thanks for the support it has received in 2020, financial and from volunteers.
In past communications, we outlined our work this year to educate elected representatives, including proposing a Congressional Commission of Inquiry on the Monetary System and reaching out to 17 receptive city mayors about how to pay for universal basic income, and to strengthen AFJM’s website and other communications, including contracting the services of AFJM member Govert Schuller in the coming year. This work would not be possible without your interest, passion and financial support.
Please consider giving a year-end gift to the Alliance.
AFJM is a 501c3 non-profit to which your donations are tax-deductible
(in an amount that is right for you).
There is still much to be done. There are bigger goals and dreams to be realized as we work towards returning the sovereignty of money creation to the government in the public interest.
When new money comes into circulation it is supposed to be neutral with no private persons or companies having an advantage. If a nation's economy is struggling, a wholly public central bank would be able to create money as an asset to help the country, doing so in a way that does not favor some people and companies while leaving others behind.
These are but two main reasons why AFJM is working to educate every citizen about money. We have a long way to go, but we are grateful for the momentum we achieved in 2020 and to everyone who supported these efforts financially and otherwise.
If you are in a position to support the Alliance with a year-end donation, please do so. If you are in a position to increase your activism we would love that, too. Some specific skill-sets needed are in accounting and website support as well as researchers, writers, and editors. However, people actively interested in the subject is the goal!
So far, we have raised $9,100. Absolutely fantastic! We are only $900 short of our goal of $10,000 by the end of the year. Thank you to those who have given, and any amount you can give today toward this goal would be greatly appreciated.
