SpaceUp Bulletin - May
Space Academies 2019
In 2019 two of our six Space Academies are taking place. The first is in Helsinki, Finland, embedded into the EBAN annual congress and the second in November in Bremen, Germany, embedded into SpaceTechExpo. Both are aimed at European space-related entrepreneurs keen on accelerating their business.

HELSINKI - network with Finnish and Arctic start-ups

The first Space Academy with start-up services offered by the EU-funded SpaceUp project is an exciting interactive two-day event taking place on 3rd - 4th June during EBAN's investors event in the Cable Factory in Helsinki. It is aimed at European space-tech and Earth Observation entrepreneurs keen on accelerating their business.

Following a successful call for space entrepreneurs and start-ups, the SpaceUp Evaluation Committee selected 10 companies to benefit from high-level services from SpaceUp experts. Already work is ongoing with four in-depth studies on individual aspects of their business plans such as analysing individual business plans and assessing management and human resource strategies. During the event, our SpaceUp experts will support them with advice on intellectual property, cross-fertilisation, technology transfer, financing, funding options and business model development.

If you cannot join us in Helsinki, mark 18th - 19th November in your diaries for the second of our Space Academies in Bremen and start by registering (free) for the Space TechExpo Europe (19th - 21st November), a pre-requisite to apply for this second Space Academy.
The 10 innovative companies below will be receiving specific individual high-level services from the SpaceUp experts prior to and during the Helsinki Space Academy, for free.
