Update on Parish Finances: Next weekend at all three Masses there will be a financial update provided. On May 26th there will be a follow-up meeting for parishioners to ask questions and raise concerns.

Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser: Calling all who are hungry! In support of our Steubenville youth from Holy Trinity Parish, the Knights of Columbus are holding a Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, May 28th from 5:30 to 7pm. Adult plates are $10 and children up to 12 are $5. While walk-ins are welcome, it's helpful for our planning to know how many will be coming out to support our youth, so reserve your portion of spaghetti today! Supper vouchers will be on sale following all three Masses this weekend. To get involved or for more info, contact Alex Craven at or by calling 782-253-0198.

The Conference: Calling all youth ages 13-18! Are you looking for more from your faith? Do you want to connect with Christ and with your peers, and have an awesome time doing both at the same time? Then Steubenville Atlantic may be the thing for you! Steubenville Atlantic (July 8th-10th) is one of 22 Catholic high school conferences held across North America every summer. Through high-quality talks, dynamic worship, and authentic experiences of the sacraments, the gospel is witnessed and proclaimed to thousands of youth every year and we'd love to have you join us for Steubie 2022! To get involved or for more info, contact Alex Craven at or by calling 782-253-0198.

Birthright Campaign: The CWL is pleased to once again sponsor the Birthright campaign and will be collecting donations this weekend (May 14/15). Birthright is an organization dedicated to providing love, friendship and support to women who are dealing with the challenges of unplanned pregnancy. A cradle is set up in the church foyer for donations of baby items which will in turn be delivered to Birthright Halifax. We are grateful and look forward to our parish’s continued support for this initiative.

CWL Bursary: Applications are now available for the annual CWL Bursary in the amount of $500, to be awarded to a 2022 high school (or home school) graduate who will be attending a post secondary institution in the fall of 2022. Applicants must be members of Holy Trinity Parish to be considered for this bursary. Deadline for applying is May 31, 2022.  Applications are available at the Parish Office or digitally from

CWL General Meeting: The next meeting of the CWL will be on Tuesday, May 17th at 7pm.  Meetings are held in the St. John Vianney downstairs hall; doors open at 6:45 and the elevator is available if needed. All women in the parish are welcome to attend and learn more about the role of the Catholic Women’s League in our parish.

Bridge of Roses Movie Screening: The Knights of Columbus and the CWL invite you to discover how a miraculous Bridge of ice over the St Lawrence River in1879 would help reignite the faith of a country. All are welcome to attend a screening of this film on Wednesday, May 18th at 7pm. The screening will be preceded by five decades of the Holy Rosary.

Healing Mass: On Wednesday, May 25th at 7pm Fr. Ben St. Croix will celebrate a special healing Mass here at Holy Trinity. Please come and praise God with us and receive the graces and healing God wants to give you. Prayer teams will be available after Mass.

Seeking Smiles: Being welcoming is important for the life of our Parish. We have started to welcome back new and old parishioners alike and are now looking for people to welcome with a smile all those who come to celebrate with us on the weekends. We are seeking people with gifts of warmth, kindness and support to join this ministry. The job is to welcome everyone who walks through our door with a non-judgemental smiling face- yes, even smile with your mask! If you are able to arrive 30 minutes before Mass time and smile and wave- we need you! Please reach out to Kate Pinto through the parish office if this is something you can help us with!

Priest Updates: On the final weekend of May (the 28th/29th) we will celebrate the Feast of the Ascension and it will be Fr. Ben St. Croix’s final weekend serving here. There will be a small reception in the church foyer following the Masses that weekend. It’s been wonderful to have Fr. Ben here with us and we will keep him in our prayers as he returns to his ministry with the Companions of the Cross in Ontario. Fr. Bryan is returning to the parish on June 1st and will resume his role as pastor just before the Feast of Pentecost (June 5th).
