Reminder - Cemetery Mass: Archbishop Dunn will celebrate our annual outdoor Mass for the Faithful Departed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery tomorrow night (July 7th) at 7pm.  Attendees are asked to please bring their own chair. In the event of rain Mass will be celebrated here at Holy Trinity.

Reminder - Chalice Appeal July 9/10: The local Catholic charity Chalice will be here making an appeal for sponsorship of children and elders in need this weekend (July 9th/10th).

Reminder - Steubenville Atlantic is Here!: Steubenville Atlantic 2022 starts this Friday! The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth is very excited to host our first in-person Steubenville youth conference since the pandemic began. We ask you to pray for the 250+ participants that include young people, youth leaders, Steubenville Ministry team, and local volunteers who will gather to encounter Christ in a unique and engaging way.

Change to Weekday Livestream Schedule: Please note that we will no longer be livestreaming Eucharistic Adoration following our weekday Masses on Wednesdays and Fridays. Eucharistic Adoration will continue throughout the summer, but this time will not be livestreamed. We will also no longer livestream Wednesday and Friday morning Masses, after August 7th. We will continue to livestream our Sunday morning 9am Mass each week. We greatly appreciate those on our tech crew who have managed our livestreams prior to and throughout the pandemic.

Papal Visit 2022: Pope Francis will begin his pilgrimage of healing and reconciliation in Canada on July 24th. The detailed itinerary was released by the Vatican last week and can be found on www.papalvisit.ca or www.vistepapal.ca. While there will be a few events that the general public will be welcome to, it has to be re-iterated that this visit has a specific purpose. That is, Pope Francis wants to be present to, and pray with, the Indigenous People of Canada. Some of the events will be shared nationally by livestream. May the Holy Spirit guide our local efforts towards healing and reconciliation.

Online Community: Are you a member of our community who for one reason or another, mostly participates online? If so, we’d like to hear from you. On the weekend of our final digital foyer (June 26th), we asked for feedback and interest from those who might like to continue some form of digital interaction (for something that might replace the digital foyer). We don’t know what it might look like, which is why we’re seeking feedback. If your parish participation is largely online, and you have an interest in, or idea of what that might look like, please send an email to communications@holytrinityns.ca.
