• Holy Week: Our Lenten journey comes to an end when Holy Week begins on Sunday. This weekend we will celebrate Palm Sunday, of the Passion of the Lord. If you haven't registered to attend in-person, be sure to join our livestream celebration at 9am on Sunday. Here are a few things to note for Holy Week:
    - The Chrism Mass will take place on Tuesday (March 30th) at 12:15pm. This will be live-streamed from the basilica.
    - There will be no 9am Mass on Holy Thursday. Following the 7pm Mass, adoration concludes at 10pm.

    - Good Friday marks the beginning of the Divine Mercy Novena.
    - Don't forget to have your bells on hand to ring during the Gloria at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday. (Scroll below for the Triduum schedule).

  • The Triduum In-person: Thanks to all who registered their interest to attend the Triduum in-person. We are grateful that with the current restrictions (at the time this is being written), the numbers who registered and our volunteers who will serve, all who signed up will be invited to attend at least one portion of the Sacred Triduum. Please read your email confirmation carefully to avoid any confusion around which part of the Triduum you're seated for. Confirmation emails are expected to go out by Monday.
  • Divine Mercy Sunday: Mark your calendar for Divine Mercy Devotions from 3-4pm on Sunday, April 11th.
  • Priests Retreat: Please note that the priests of the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth will be on retreat from April 25th to 30th. We will not have any weekday Masses (or Eucharistic Adoration) that week. Please pray for our parish priests and all the priests of our diocese!
  • Financial Reporting: Each month we will post the total parish revenue (for the month) at the bottom of the Give page of our parish website. In addition to monthly revenue amounts, we will also be posting quarterly reports that will indicate revenues as compared to our budget. January and February revenue totals have been posted and by the next First 5 we will have our first quarterly report for 2021 added to the page. Thanks for your continued financial support towards the mission and vision of Holy Trinity Parish.
Please forward this email to anyone who may not yet be a subscriber and encourage them to visit our website and sign up to receive First 5 in their inbox every two weeks.
