World Meeting of Families in Rome: This week the Pope is gathered with delegates from around the world for the World Meeting of Families. As the festivities close on Sunday, we invite you to recognize and pray for all families participating, including our own, Michelynne and Simon Gomez. Got a Green Thumb?: If so, we’d love your help! We’re looking for volunteer gardeners to assist with the flower beds on the church property. Please contact Catherine in the parish office if you are able to help.
Canada Day: Friday, July 1st is Canada Day and all are invited to join in the celebration of Mass at 9am (followed by Eucharistic Adoration until 10:30am) to pray for our country. Please note that the office will be closed after Mass on June 30th, remain closed on Canada Day and reopen on Tuesday, July 5th at 9am.
Preparing for the Upcoming Ministry Season: Over recent weeks and throughout the summer, plans are being made for the ministry season from the fall through to the spring of 2023. These plans include reserving space in the building for meetings and events as well as laying out the schedule of communication requests. Thanks to all the ministry leaders who submitted requests for parish resources and who are planning their upcoming season of ministry as we all seek to make and equip disciples who joyfully go and invite others to Jesus.
Gate of Heaven Annual Cemetery Mass July 7th: The annual Mass held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery will take place on Thursday, July 7th at 7pm (in the event of rain it will take place here at Holy Trinity).
Chalice Appeal July 9/10: The local Catholic charity, Chalice will be here making an appeal for sponsorship of children and elders in need on the weekend of July 10th. Chalice is Canada’s largest Catholic child sponsorship organization and they have been sponsoring children in need for 30 years.
