  • Lent 2022: Lent starts on Ash Wednesday March 2nd and lasts for 40 days. Ash Wednesday Masses will be at 9am (live-streamed), 4:30pm and 7pm. Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. We invite you to examine your life and invite Christ into it in a new way this Lenten season. There are some great Lenten resources on FORMED including Lent with Brother Francis for the children in your life! You can also check out The Bible App and sign up for one of the many Lenten Catholic bible studies. Please join us in person for Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 7pm throughout the Lenten Season!

  • Reopening Plan: As per the announcement on February 23, Nova Scotia is poised to remove all COVID-19 restrictions as of March 21, 2022. As of March 7th regular faith services are open to 75% of the venue’s capacity with social distancing and masks. At Holy Trinity every second pew will still be blocked off and we will be utilizing the six-foot blue ribbons to help maintain distance between bubbles. We will continue to come to you in your pew for distribution of Communion. We are excited to join you in song- congregational singing with masks is permitted!

  • 2022 Formation Collection: The Archdiocesan Formation Collection will take place on the weekend of March 5 & 6. You can place the envelope mailed to you by the diocese in the Sunday collection or make a donation online through the Archdiocesan website.

  • Synod Process: The short, open-ended, anonymous online survey for those who do not attend Mass or consider themselves involved with our Church will close on Monday, March 7. Please take some time to share this survey with people you know who are not part of our Church. A personal invitation from someone they know will be our best promotional tool for this initiative. • Emergency Shelter Resident Shares Thanks: “So many times I have wondered how to put into words how very grateful I am for all that has been done for me, I reached out for help and you all helped me more than I could have hoped for. Your kindness has renewed my hope in humanity. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I pledge to pay it forward to those in need as you have so clearly done for me. I specifically would like to thank the Parish of Holy Trinity, Society of St. Vincent de Paul and moreover George and Marilyn who have gone above and beyond and continue to do so. Thank you again, Patricia”
