Free CFIB Member Webinar:
The Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS) Q&A with CRA
The Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS) is finally here!
The new program was launched by CRA on November 23, thanks to CFIB’s successful push for a more accessible subsidy. This will allow any businesses with a revenue drop to apply for a subsidy to help pay for rent or interest on a commercial mortgage through their CRA My Business Account or the “Represent a client” portal.
To help understand if you might be eligible to receive the subsidy and how to apply, CFIB is hosting a webinar exclusively for members this week on November 26th at 1:00pm.
In this webinar, featuring guest speakers from CRA, you will learn:
• What businesses are eligible for the new CERS
• How you can calculate the subsidy
• Where you can find additional resources
The webinar will also include a live question and answer period!
More information can be found here: https://www.cfib-fcei.ca/en/covid-19-webinar-registration
