Upcoming Events & Services

Hillel - Does the Talmud Pass the Bechdel Test?
Friday April 23, 12:00 - 1:00 PM PT
Join Talmud Teacher Oliva Devorah as we explore "Women of the Talmud: Does our Talmud Pass the Bechdel Test?" Olivia Devorah Tucker will introduce us to a world of women from the margins of the early rabbinic texts. Learn and discuss how scholars, maids, queens, and balabustas all influenced Jewish halacha (law) and aggadah (story). Help keep their memory alive!
Olivia Devorah Tucker (they/them, transfemme) is a “Queer Talmud Nerd,” in the tradition of SVARA’s Queer Talmud Camp, where they solidified their love of radical Talmud. A lifelong Pittsburgher (Shawnee land), they take part in vibrant theatre and leftist Jewish organizing, play tabletop RPGs, and bake challah inspired by the weekly Torah portion.

Claremont Christian Fellowship

Claremont Christian Fellowship is an inclusive and diverse group for students to explore and grow in the Christian faith. We aim to experience God’s love through community, where each person can be known, accepted, valued, and understood. We strive to create a space where students can struggle with questions about God and the Bible. We believe in supporting the whole person; not only do we care about students’ spiritual lives, we also support their mental and physical health. We pursue transformative and restorative justice within our group and in our greater community. We also have a lot of fun together, and we highly value rest as a spiritual practice. We offer weekly community groups at each of the 5Cs to study the Bible, a weekly fellowship meeting with worship and a talk, and prayer meetings, among many other activities and meetings throughout the year. We host groups to support queer students, students with anxiety, and students with eating disorders. We facilitate mentoring relationships: among students, with alumni, and with CCF staff. Everyone is welcome, regardless of how they identify religiously. We embrace students of all gender and sexual identities.

Latter-Day Saints Student Association

The LDSSA is apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We sponsors a weekly Institute of Religion class at which we study the scriptures and fellowship one another. We invite you to join us!
