Today’s the Day!
We’ve been eagerly anticipating Giving Hearts Day, and we’re so excited to celebrate with you. We encourage you to become a Giving Hearts Day donor.
How to Donate
There are a couple different ways to participate:
Visit our Giving Hearts Day donation page to donate online
You can also go to givingheartsday.org and search for Northern Lights Arts Council
If you are interested in future volunteer opportunities for NLAC or the Roxy, select the box under “Volunteer Summary” on our donation page
Come see us at the Roxy Theater! We’ll be there from 3-6pm and would love to say hi! Concessions will be available to purchase and you’ll be able to drop off check donations there. Checks should be made payable to NLAC with Giving Hearts Day noted in the memo.

Donations of $10 or greater will be matched up to $21,993 thanks to our generous match donors:

Where will the funds be used?
Funds raised on Giving Hearts Day will go towards the Roxy Theater, specifically to pay for the roof repair project and to restore the marquee. Any donations in excess of these costs will be put towards other theater repairs and restoration.
NLAC Celebrates 30 Years!
The Northern Lights Arts Council is celebrating our 30 year anniversary this year! We had a lot of fun with a 30-day countdown to Giving Hearts Day by posting on Facebook each day. Check out our Facebook Page for a trip down memory lane; we shared the names of people and businesses who have made an impact on NLAC and the Roxy Theater the past 30 years. It was really fun to look back at the musicals, classes, art shows (and more!) that we’ve done through the years and to see all the names of those who helped make each event and activity successful.

We’re doing a few give-aways today, and there are a couple different ways you can enter to win.
SHARE our February 9th Facebook post and COMMENT your favorite thing about the Roxy Theater or a favorite memory you have at the Roxy. Two (2) winners will be drawn at random (make sure to change your share settings to “public” so we can see that you shared the post!). Comments must be made by 11:59pm on February 9th and winners will be contacted and announced February 10th.
Stop by the Roxy Theater from 3-6pm and enter to win! No purchase necessary. Two (2) names will be drawn at random. Must enter by 6:00pm on February 9th and winners will be contacted and announced February 10th.
