NLAC News - Fall 2019
The chill is in the air as we settle into a new season! October is a fun month for us, as we start our membership campaign, finalize our schedule of events, and hold our annual meeting! We are excited for our new year of activities to begin!

You should be receiving a letter and brochure in the mail soon. If you did not get yours, please contact Amber at 701-305-0089 and we’ll get one to you right away! We also will have brochures available at the Roxy Theater, Langdon City Hall, and the Cavalier County Courthouse. You can find an electronic version on our website,

We invite you to renew your membership or become a new member! It’s as easy as mailing your tax deductible donation to NLAC, PO Box 162, Langdon, ND 58249. Any amount you are willing and able to give is appreciated. Memorials are also welcome. We appreciate your support, because without you, we truly could not do what we do. Your support of the arts does not go unnoticed, and we thank you for that! If you have any questions about what becoming a member means, or how your funds are used, don’t hesitate to reach out!

We also invite you to attend our annual meeting. We will be voting in new board members at this meeting, as well as discussing regular business. It will be held at the Cavalier County Library on October 15 at 5:30pm. Please note that this is a time and location change from previous years.

Happy Fall - See you around!

Welcome Our New Executive Director of Finance!

As the season changes, so does our leadership. April Smith will be resigning as Exec. Dir. of Finance. On behalf of the board, we want to express our appreciation for everything she has done over the past three years. She has been a pleasure to work with and has done so much for the council! Jaclyn Nye will be taking over the role officially at our Annual Meeting on October 15th. Jaclyn has served as a director on the board for the past year as the treasurer. We are excited to welcome her into the Executive Director position! Congratulations, Jaclyn and Best Wishes, April!

Thanks to Langdon Floral!

Thank you to Tatiana Davis of Langdon Floral for choosing NLAC as her "give back" organization! She is celebrating 5 years of ownership and has chosen our organization to donate to. We are so appreciative of our generous community! Congrats, Tati, on 5 years, and thanks for supporting the arts!
