Impromptu Rembrandt Photoshoot gone right!

Some of you might know that its Rembrandt year in the Netherlands this whole year. There is a pretty cool competition connected to that, being: sent in art inspired by Rembrandt and get picked to hang said art in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam! I really want to paint a (self) portret for this, but I'm afraid I will not have time for that.. So I contacted Kit, to plan a shoot together! And Kit said, sure what about tomorrow? *gulp* So we ended up shooting in my living, the pictures need a little bit of tinkering still, but I couldn't wait to show you!

More MTG alters!

I made three commissioned MTG alters last week. They are altered cards from the cardgame Magic The Gathering. This means that I've painted over parts of the card so that it looks as if the border is flowing out of the original artwork.

Its really nice work, but also very precise!

What I'm working on..

This month, I did something I wanted to do in December already. I've subscribed The Blue Pangolin as an official company in The Netherlands. This means that I am now a business owner!

I find that pretty cool, on the other hand, I also received the first letter from the government about taxes...

Website maintenance..

I promised last newsletter that I'd upload the new series of people-society-mentalhealth-poem things (the person that gets me a proper name gets all the fame in the next newsletter), so I did!

I found out that I'm actually pretty behind on keeping the website up to date.. So I'm planning on fixing that this week. Let me know if you miss something!
