Newsletter April!

Dear <<First Name>>,

How the world has changed! Luckily, I'll keep making art and sharing it with you. In this newsletter I'm announcing one amazing live event you can join, and a super secret project I'm really stoked about!

This month, brushes will join forces with piano music..
You may or may not have discovered the awesome world of livestreams, helping musicians reach you during lockdown. On Wednesday the 20th of may, Wim te Groen will play an hour of balfolk music followed by an hour of classical (?) music usually played with 4 piano's. This mastermind rewrote the piece into a dynamic solo.
Why am I telling you this? During this event I will, together with other visual artists, provide you with live painting! See how my brushes move with the music (I hope) and follow a physical work of art come to life on the tunes of Wim te Groen's piano magic.
The wonderful tech team will provide you with high quality sound of Wim's music and a variation between the different artists at work via a closed Youtube link.
But there's more! Your ticket to this event counts as a lottery ticket for the lottery the next day, basically giving you a shot of winning a 200-400€ painting for only €5! Of course you can also buy more tickets, gift them to your friends with fine print about lottery prices or help your grandma to YouTube.
I hope you join us, support a great musician and enjoy a full-on live concert in your own living room.
More info and tickets here!
I couldn't choose, so.. both! First of all, happy easter/ostara. I painted this Blue Tit for my mom, whilst trying out my new metallic watercolors. Next to that I painted a commission for a friend, who gave it to a soon-to-be-wed couple as a wedding gift. I loved weaving in the magic into this Wish!

What I'm working on..

The exclusive preview of this month is an otter hug! I miss hugging you all, and that motivated me to do something.. I'm currently working on a postcard set!

It will be my first prints ever, to be sold in stores and directly from me. I'm really curious where this adventure will take me, and if you like the cards when they're done! Stay tuned, I hope to present them in the next newsletter :D

New month, new alter!

It seems that I get a new Magic the Gathering commission each month, so for now, I'll be able to show you an alter each month!
I love making these tiny pieces of art because they are a different challenge each and every time. If you want to see more alters, consider following me on Facebook or Instagram
Who found my little hidden friend in the card?

That's all folks! I hope you enjoyed this newsletter. If you got it by some lovely friend of mine that forwarded it to you, feel free to subscribe. It's just one mail every month!

And remember, if you have a question/suggestion/commission, feel free to contact me
