Welcome to September's newsletter
Hi there,
I remember the feeling of my children returning to school.
The unwanted noise of alarm clocks and chaotic morning runs were a complete nightmare.
And guess what? That time is approaching again as summer comes to an end.
Over the years there has been one truly unexpected thing that’s helped me. Essential oils have transformed my chaotic mornings into a peaceful part of my day.

So many mums ask me,
"Clarisa, how do essential oils really work?"
So this is what I tell them...
Inhaling essential oils impacts us via the Limbic system, which regulates our emotional, cognitive and motor functions. It also regulates our hormones, like adrenaline. The oils send a myriad of hormonal signals to different parts of the body to achieve balance. Within 20 minutes of application, you’ll feel plenty of therapeutic benefits.
Here are some ways to use essential oils....
- Diffusing orange in the mornings for a refreshed and calm start.
- Use car diffusers during long journeys. Citrus and floral oils can enlighten school runs.
- If your little ones feel anxious at school, help them feel brave with Lavender, Mandarin, Lemon or Sweet Orange.
- During homework time, diffusing Spearmint, Peppermint, Rosemary, Cedarwood, Vetiver or Lime promotes concentration.
- Sleep is very important for your child’s well-being. Lavender, Frankincense, Litsea, Spikenard, and Vetiver are go-to aromas that can be used in pillow sprays.
