PBRs and donation-based Yoga & Ride
for family of Pablo Sanders
Velo Garage & Tap House would like to celebrate the life of local cyclist and Velo Garage regular Pablo Sanders, and continue the financial support for his family. Tonight (Friday), they'll have a turntable ready for you to bring your own vinyls (VG regulars will spin some of his favorite tracks),.They'll also have some “That’s What’s Up” canvas posters to raffle off. All proceeds of the sales of PBR beers and raffles will go directly to the Sanders family.
Sunday morning, Sally Louise brings her Yoga + Bike sessions back to Velo Garage. Donations for the session go to the Sanders family's Go Fund Me. Yoga kicks off at 9AM with the ride (weather pending) at 10:20AM.

Grain to Glass, a North Kansas City homebrew supply shop and craft beer bar, plans to close on January 31st. Owner Jennifer Helber first opened Grain to Glass in the River Market in August of 2012 in a corner of the Market 3 bodega along 3rd Street. She relocated the shop to 1611 Swift in NKC, on March 1, 2014, in time for the Snake Saturday Parade.
After many years in business, Helber made a tough decision to close. Helber says, “Due to two years of decreased sales, along with an increase in rent, this seems like the time to exit.”
Beginning of the boom
Grain to Glass served a diverse clientele from across the city during the first wave of the modern craft beer and homebrewing boom in the 2010s. Numerous other homebrew supply shops have since opened across Greater Kansas City, serving customers closer to where they live and brew.
