There has been so much learning and faith filled moments that have taken place in this first month of school. Students have learned their classroom routines, expectations, and continue to form relationships with their peers and new teachers. We are blessed with wonderful families here in the Holy Cross community. Each family is a domestic church, which means that each home has a noble purpose. I would ask you to seek ways that you can pray together as a family and grow to love the Lord and the Church as a family unit. I encourage you to pray the rosary together as a family or read the Scripture readings for the coming Sunday so that you are familiar with them when you attend Sunday mass. Together in partnership we are forming young disciples of Christ!
Parent /Teacher Conferences Parent/Teacher conferences are on Tuesday, Oct. 23rd (4-8:00 pm) and Thursday, Oct. 25th (1-6:00 pm). The core middle school teachers are conducting team conferences. If you would like a special teacher to be there please sign them up at the same time. You can access the Sign Up Genius from our website. http://holycrossfamily.org/2018/10/10/parent-teacher-conferences-signup-3/

Needs You!! To increase our enrollment here at Holy Cross School it is vital to have a marketing committee whose primary focus is to spread the word about the wonderful things we are doing at Holy Cross Catholic School. Our next meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 16th in the school library. We would love to have you join us and share your marketing ideas! Please contact Mrs.Gast at email@example.com
Holy Cross School Email Update
In the spirit of creating efficiencies as well as robust utilization of IT resources, we are moving away from using the old Holy Cross Google Group beginning today. All email communication related to HC School will be included in this weekly Holy Cross School Newsletter. If you feel something should be added to the newsletter, please email communications directly to the Principal Gast at firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration. We have received positive feedback regarding this enhanced newsletter format that was purposefully redesigned over the summer months to improve communications.
This practice of using our school newsletter for streamlined communicates helps ensure the best and most efficient communication to the entire
school family for Holy Cross School.

We have until Thursday, October 25, 2018 to still purchase Football Mania tickets and activate them.
The sweepstakes has changed their structure this year as to winnings. The end of the year final ticket payment (covers all 17 weeks) has been reduced to $600 but at the same time there are approx. 7 more winners ($25 each) available per week.
We had one family unit that did not purchase their ticket and could have received a $400 check from week #4 winnings. There was also a $100 and a couple of $25 winners that could have received checks from week #4. Please consider purchasing the tickets. They are $20 each and you have the potential of winning in the remaining 13 weeks. Tickets must be activated in order to win.
