Since worship on May 8, RLC has been notified of nine positive covid cases developed in the past several days among participants in worship services, adult ed, and fellowship on May 8. If you are ill and haven’t shared that with RLC staff, please consider doing so in order to help us make sure we notify anyone who may have been exposed.
Because of the number of people and space in RLC, it is difficult to provide detailed contact tracing information. It is reasonable to assume that you may have been exposed to covid-19 if you were at RLC on May 8. For guidance on exposure, quarantine, and related precautions, read the guidance from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html
If you are feeling ill, please consult with your medical provider or use the Test Iowa website (www.testiowa.com) to get tested for covid-19. As always, but especially during this pandemic, if you are experiencing any covid-type symptoms, please stay at home. You can worship via our online stream at www.resurrectionlutheran.org any Sunday at 8:15, or find the archived livestreams at www.youtube.com/resurrectionlutheranchurchankeny.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me or a member of our church council directly.
