"Back" to school?

This year, things are looking a little different, and you may have a few questions.

  1. Am I returning back to school in 2021?
  2. What will that look like?
  3. How will I meet new people if classes are online?
  4. If we do go back to school, will it feel safe?

Uncertainty can be stressful, but remember that nothing stays uncertain forever - this too shall pass. Soon enough you'll have the information you need to act and adapt. You <<First Name>>, are resilient - you got this!

Should you ever need support along the way, we are here.

You Are Not Alone

Managing COVID Related School Stress

"When things change, when things are out of our control, when we have to accept a reality that we wish were different – we must grieve. We all fight reality to avoid this grief, at least sometimes.

But it’s OK to be sad about what feels different or lost now. So, grieve, write out what you’re upset about, honour it – but don’t let it dictate your life. Instead try to accept it, act according to your values and goals, and see if you can find any silver linings (if possible).
Regarding the anxiety, what can you do? The good news is that we can learn to become more tolerant of uncertainty. And, there are a lot of ways to do that."

Cam's Kids Virtual "Frosh Week"

Cam's Kids understands the importance of Orientation Week for incoming students. While Universities and Colleges may not be able to run the same activities this year, this won't be stopping our incredible Ambassadors from taking things into their own hands.

Virtual yoga, zumba, self-care chats, paint night, anxiety coping strategies - these are just some of the fun activities our Ambassadors have lined up for the first few weeks of classes. All of which - will be available on our Instagram page.
Be sure to follow us on Instagram (@camskids_8) to stay connected, and to tune in to some of the exciting activities we have planned.
