Sorry to send you all another email on the heels of our last newsletter, but we've just had an incredible offer of free tickets to a contemporary Arabic music concert at the Barbican from our friends as MARSM and this seemed the best way to let as many of you know as possible at short notice.

The Trace of the Butterfly is a tribute concert to Rim Banna, a pioneering figure in the Palestinian contemporary music scene who sadly died of cancer last year. The tribute concert will honour her legacy and will bring together some of her closest music peers including Lebanese singer Tania Saleh, Syrian rapper Bo Khultoum (Syria), Tunisian singer-songwriter Sabrine Jenhani and Palestinian Jazz pianist Faraj Suleiman.

Tuesday 9th July doors open at 7.15 Barbican Center

Message from Frederika (production manager at MARSM and also HostNation befriender):

First come first serve on tickets, we have around 15 tickets available. We'd like to ask that if possible, tickets go directly to refugees and asylum seekers, but are also happy to allocate a ticket to their friends, carers, guardians or mentors if they want to come together.

If you'd like to register your friend or both of you on the guestlist please use this FaceBook link and let us know at info@hostnation.org.uk so we can confirm your names.

Thank you!
