Talk to Your Student About Social Media
We are seeing a rise in students involved in social media use that is negatively impacting student learning and not contributing to a welcoming, safe environment that we strive to have at Hamilton. Please take a moment to talk to your student about their social media use and habits. Students will be receiving digital literacy lessons at each grade level this spring and we continue to provide social emotional learning in advisory each week.
Experts are increasingly warning of a connection between heavy social media use and mental health issues in children — a hot topic now driving major lawsuits against tech giants…. Recent article from Axios

Hundreds of Students Shared New Year's Resolutions!
The ASB and Hamilton students started 2023 with a fun community-building activity at lunch, the January Resolutions Project. ASB students were invited to write a personal resolution for 2023 on a post-it note. We were very proud that so many students participated – hundreds! – and the resulting wall of resolutions is an impressive display of hopes and dreams for 2023.
