Music-a-thon is February 9th!
It’s time for our annual celebration of music. Our students will perform music throughout the school day, capping it off with a special Young Musician Showcase from 7pm – 9pm. All Hamilton families are invited to attend the evening event! Families of music students should be on the lookout for fundraising envelopes. We will need parent volunteers to help both during the day and evening performances. Email to sign up!

Friends of Music at Hamilton International (FOMAHI) is a non-profit parent booster group that supports our students inside and outside the music room. If you have any questions about Hamilton’s music programs and our activities, you can email us at Register on FOMAHI’s website to get news about concerts, field trips and events:

Learn More About Mental Health for Teens

This year Hamilton has been partnering with Crisis Connections to provide suicide prevention/mental health awareness presentations to all of our students.  In conjunction with this school-wide educational initiative, we are inviting the Hamilton community to attend NAMI's (National Alliance on Mental Illness) presentation Ending the Silence,  a 1-hour virtual presentation for adults with middle or high school aged youth.  Topics covered will include:

  • Common warning signs
  • Facts and statistics
  • How to talk to your child and work with school staff

We encourage parents to inform themselves about how to talk to teens about stress and suicide, as well as have regular conversations with their youth about mental health and stress management.  We hope you will join us for this important event.

Date/Time: Thursday, January 19th 6:30pm-7:30pm
